03.25.2008 - Tomorrow we'll be in a studio all day at Recording Arts Canada in downtown Toronto, recording what we hope will be the beginning of our second album! We're very exicted and we've been working hard, so if all goes well we'll be posting some brand new Max Galactic orginals on this site and our myspace real soon! 3.12.2008 - The band has some exciting shows in the near future with cover proceeds going to worthy causes in the GTA. On March 20, the band will be performing at Holy Joes's as a fundraiser for the Draft89 Theatre company (www.draft89.com), and on March 25 the band will host an open mic coffee house for Victoria University Environmental Society at U of T. Come out and support your local artists and activists! 02.24.2008 - Max Galactic on internet radio! Members of the band are being interviewed on February 28 on the radio show "Liquid Lunch", which runs 12-2p.m. on www.thatradio.com 12.1.2007 - Thanks to everyone who came out to the show at the Opera House. It was by far the biggest and most exciting show we've done, so thanks to everyone who made the trip out to help pack the place! 11.10.2007 - Max Galactic to play the legendary Opera House. The venue (located at Queen and Broadview) has hosted bands such as the Police, Radiohead, and Rage Against the Machine. Max Galactic will be performing on November 30 as part of the Underdogs Ball, an event showcasing the best of the independnet music talent in Toronto. Other acts performing including William the Conqueror and Soul Niddus. We're playing a show on June 30th as part of a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society run by the Danforth Music Festival and the Beaches Blues Fest. There will be 6 bands and a BBQ and it'll run from 1pm to 6pm outside and the music will continue inside late into the night. The tickets are 20 bucks a pop but we will have a limited number of free tickets for anyone who wants them! First come first serve.
